Deck crane
Deck crane is a device and machinery provided by ships for loading and unloading goods. Mainly including boom devices, rotating devices, and slewing devices. The control of deck cranes is mainly divided into two aspects: vertical control to reduce the impact of ship motion and lateral anti swing to suppress load swing. It is a special type of crane, which can perform transportation operations in the offshore environment.
The deck crane has a compact structure, allowing the ship to have more deck area and minimal impact on the bridge’s line of sight. The marine deck crane has simple operation, high loading and unloading efficiency, flexible operation, and no need for tedious pre operation preparation work.
The deck crane includes fixed slewing crane, mobile slewing crane, which are commonly used for ship deck crane. There are two types of transmission methods: electric transmission and electric-hydraulic transmission. Different type and capacity,we could customized the deck according to client’s requirements.

Safety Devices
- Limit switch: The limit switch can prevent collision with other marine equipment during the lifting and turning of the deck crane, causing damage to the equipment or load.
- Overload protection: Once the load exceeds the rated lifting capacity, the overload protection will be triggered and the deck crane will stop working.
- Emergency stop button: The emergency stop button can immediately stop the deck crane in an emergency situation.
- Brake: When the crane motor is turned off, the brake will prevent the deck crane from moving, ensuring that the load remains stationary and will not accidentally move.
- Thermal overload protection: When the deck crane operates for a long time or is overloaded, the thermal overload protection will trigger and close the motor to prevent damage.
